Oakland Alternative High School is an alternative secondary school in Tacoma, Washington. It was built in 1912 by a prominent local architectural firm and is located at 3319 South Adams Street (South End).〔"Oakland Alternative High School in Tacoma's South End was built in 1912 by architects Frederick Heath and George Gove. It is one of more than two-dozen pre-1960s school buildings owned by Tacoma Public Schools that could be eligible for the City of Tacoma's register of historic places." During 2009-10, approximately 250 students attended Oakland. OHS also added a middle school component in the 2009-10 school year.
